Day Date Description

Changes are updated continuously. Meetings that are planned some time in advance can be changed without notice.

Here you can find more information about meetings back in time.

We encourage everyone to bring their Bible to our meetings, whether it is a Bible on a mobile phone or a paper Bible. We want to be a living congregation where God's word is our map and compass in our Christian life.

Prayer meetings on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM

Every Tuesday there is a prayer meeting in the meeting hall. Also open to those who attend other Christian congregations. Lately there have been more people at these meetings and it is very nice and encouraging. Prayer and prayer meetings are the very lifeblood of Christian life, and when something is going to happen, it happens in prayer. For example, when God revealed that the gospel is also given to us Gentiles (i.e. non-Jews), all communication took place through the prayers of Cornelius and Peter. Very interesting to read. At Bethel we have created our own email address where you can submit prayer topics. Send an email to be_at_betelvolda_punktum_org (replace at and period with the correct characters).

Evening Sunday meetings at 6:00 PM

Every Sunday evening is the main meeting of the congregation. It is advertised in the newspapers and is open to all who want to come. The entire congregation gathers and contributes together in their own way. Some lead, some speak, some sing, some make coffee with something to eat when the official program is over. We often have visiting speakers, either from the local community or from further afield. At the back of the meeting hall in the bookshelf we have small prayer notes. Here, anyone who wants to can write their prayer requests. Put the note in the collection basket when the church servant goes around collecting the collection, usually after the speach. The meeting leader will pray for blessings of the collected funds, and also pray for incoming prayer requests. Write the prayer topic so that you are comfortable with it being read out and prayed for in the congregation and at the prayer meeting on Tuesdays.
